An interesting placement indeed but we are stoked on all the people who got to hear the song because of it. I thought it would be most fitting to blog the lyrics for all yall’s. In Your Arms was one of the very first songs I’ve ever written. It’s super simple and perhaps not lyrical the most clever or profound but it’s funny how this very simple and worshipful song has had the best reception on TV and Movies. The song is about the recognition of our broken state. About realizing who we are and the need that we have. Nothing hiding just us as we are. I wrote the chorus of this as a prayer for the Father and Love to come and catch and hold us. The bridge of this song is one of my favourite parts cause it paints the picture of heaven singing over our brokenness and bringing healing.
